By accessing or using Qwikr ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service. These terms apply to all users, including accountants, accounting firms, and their clients.
Qwikr provides cloud-based accounting and bookkeeping software for individuals, small businesses, and accountancy practices operating in the United Kingdom. The Service includes tools for invoicing, expense tracking, VAT management, payroll, and related financial functions.
You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old and legally authorised to enter into contracts in the UK.
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with full feature access. After the trial period, continued use requires a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and auto-renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
You agree not to:
You retain ownership of all financial data you input into Qwikr. We act as a data processor on your behalf. You may export your data at any time. Upon account closure, we will retain your data for 30 days before deletion, unless longer retention is required by law.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, regular backups, and access controls. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential.
Qwikr assists with MTD (Making Tax Digital) compliance and HMRC submissions. However, you remain solely responsible for the accuracy of submissions made to HMRC. We do not provide regulated financial advice. Consult a qualified accountant for professional advice.
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Qwikr and are protected by UK and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Qwikr shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any financial penalties arising from HMRC submissions. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms or for non-payment. You may terminate your account at any time via the billing settings. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid fees.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
